Nature's Self Blessing

My best Self-blessing:

Start by sitting for a few minutes, and take a deep breath, and 2 more, then smile...

Close your eyes and say the words below in silence in your mind; when you say the words visualize what you are saying, and then feel it:

"May I be healthy, as healthy as I can be."  (Have a picture of your self young and healthy on your mind’s eyes, keep it there...)  Then say:

"May I be happy, as happy as I can be."  (Remember the last time you were happy and relaxed, how does it feel?     Enjoy the feeling...  Now, find what would make you feel happy today.    Visualize it.   How does it feel?    Keep that image on your mind’s eyes...)  Then say:

"May I be at peace." (Imagine yourself radiating love to people around you, to your loved ones, and to all living beings in the world that need love. Be in a giving mode...)  Lastly say:

"And, may I have a successful day!"
(This is for you to visualize and feel how good it feels when all you want to do today gets done, focus on survival skills, activities, and $ matters as applicable. What would make you successful today?   Visualize it,   feel the success.....When you are ready say: Amen

This is called Nature's Self Blessing because when we meditate we are one with Nature.
With love, Patrizia Materassi

The Aristotle Triangle aligns well with my Sustainability Synthesis

"Text" relates to the Physical Element of my Sustainability Synthesis. "Audience" to the Social Element, and "Author" relates to how well things get done, or how the priorities to reach physical and social goals are implemented; so "Author" relates to the Economic Element in my Sustainability Synthesis. Isn't it neat? My son, while taking a Communications Class, saw the similarity of my sustainability Synthesis with the Aristotle Triangle!

Nearly six weeks ago I visited for the first time the paradise of Hawaii. While it’s easy for visitors to appreciate its sun-kissed beaches and warm ocean breezes, you may not realize Hawaii also is a renewable energy lover’s paradise. Sunshine and wind, especially, are in abundant supply.

A Simple Sustainability Template to help you make Sustainable Decisions

I know it seems our world is changing too fast for our human capacity. But we got to come up to the plate faster and one way is to make sustainable decisions: not only using our instincts, but also our reasoning and our hearts. I have a Simple Sustainability Template that helps you to learn to think sustainably. Give me a call.

This short video is just great! I cannot believe Hawaii is getting so much plastic pollution! I do not use plastic bottles, unless I am dehydrated...no plastic bags...replaced my Tupperware with glass containers. Check it out and do some about it too.

Save the Bay

Do you know about Save the Bay? Check it out at www.saveSFbay.org. Wew learn sustainability from sustainable ecosystems, such as wetlands estuaries.
The SF Bay's watershed provides drinking water to 22 million Californians and irrigates 4.5 million acres of farmland. Half of the birds migrating along the Pacific Flyway use the Bay-Delta Estuary's Wetlands. Wetlands are sustainable eco systems that provide for life on earth. Wetlands filter water, store tons of carbon dioxide, protect the land from storm surges, and are the house of fish and wild life. Estuaries are responsible for 50% of the world's fisheries harvest even though they only make up for 8% of marine waters.
    • 90% of the SF Bay was paved. Save The Bay wants to restore habitat and re-establish 100,000 acres of wetlands essential for the health of this ecosystem. This is a great Sustainable Project.
